Robotic Assisted Thoracic Surgery
This is the most advanced state of the art technique in minimally invasive chest surgery. The surgeon sits on a console in the operating room controlling a surgical robot which holds a 3D camera and the fine surgical instrument. This technique requires performing 3-4 skin cuts 8-12 mm each.
